How does Private Pay work?
Bayside Counseling is a “specialty provider” and is considered an “out of network provider.” When working as a private pay telehealth provider we limit administrative and billing costs to keep our fee competitive and our focus 100% on your goals.
After 15+ years working in community mental health, it is important to our mission to provide a sliding scale fee to those desiring help and in need of more flexible payment options. I have reserved a portion of my caseload to meet these needs and currently have openings available if this applies to you.

How Does Out-of-Network Reimbursement Work?
Many clients choose to use their “out of network” insurance benefits to cover a portion of their sessions. You may be surprised to learn that with out of network coverage, session fees can be reimbursed between 50-85%.
We can provide a “super bill” after you have received services. A superbill is a specialized invoice, which includes the treatment coding, diagnosis coding, and session dates that your insurance carrier will need in order to reimburse you.
